Social Support

Social support plays a huge role in the success of any pursuit. Whether it's focusing on a health and fitness related goal, or any other important aspect of our life. Being fortunate enough to be surrounded by positive supportive people, is simply a bi-product of either conscious or unconscious choices we've made to make it that way. Understanding if your social network is on point or needs a bit of work (as in gaining support from those around you - not removing people from your life) is going to be crucial to your success in this particular endeavour.

Give these questions some thought. Answer them honestly, and remember don't blame those around you if you're not supported. It's totally normal in the beginning, and with time and effort, you can develop a strong supportive community of individuals who will positively impact your success.
