Pride Foundation’s Community Engagement Committee (CEC) is a collaborative volunteer body composed of board members and local community members, supported by Pride Foundation staff.

The purpose of the CEC is to expand and deepen Pride Foundation’s local impact by supporting fundraising initiatives and engagement. The committee provides insights, advice, and assistance driving fundraising efforts while promoting community engagement across Pride Foundation’s five-state region of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Washington.

Goals of the CEC:
Fundraising Guidance: Providing strategic input into fundraising strategies, helping to identify potential donors and opportunities within the community.
Event Support: Assisting in organizing events, securing event sponsors, and promoting events to local businesses and community members for attendance and support.
Donor Cultivation: Leveraging community connections to help identify and cultivate potential donors, especially across the local and regional landscape.
Ambassadorship: Acting as ambassadors for the organization, promoting Pride Foundation within their networks and championing fundraising efforts through word-of-mouth, social media, and personal invitations.
