Age Group Games Experience 2020

Age Groups! Do You Want To?

Thanks to an international pandemic, the 2020 CrossFit® Games were cancelled for the age groups, meaning 160 elite athletes from around the globe will not have an official way to test their skills and strength and show off their hard work and dedication. We understand. We respect CrossFit®'s decision and appreciate the delicate balance of wanting to meet the needs of the athletes and their fans while also remaining socially responsible.

We have an idea. How about planning *some kind of* age group competition experience for August - tentatively but as proactively as we dare - that gives the age groups an experience similar to what the individual Games athletes are planning to experience at the CrossFit® Ranch in Aromas, Calif., this year?

We *could* do it - at least for athletes able to travel. We have a place, a beautiful fitness ranch of our own that's home to a CrossFit® affiliate in southwest Michigan, USA. We're in the heart of the Midwest, on the Great Lakes and near destinations like Chicago and Notre Dame University.

We have the experience (Games athletes among us, tried-and-true coaching, an amazing competition community). We have the programming - something amazing in mind ;-). We have the volunteers, the event coordinators and the huge *desire*. What we need to know is would you come?
