To apply for a Critical Care Medicine fellowship at St. Michael's Hospital, please submit the following documents by the application deadline:
1) A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae that includes information on your education and qualifications, professional history, clinical experience, research experience and publications, and teaching experience.
2) A copy of your Medical Degree.
3) A copy of any Specialty Certificates.
4) A Personal Statement or Letter of Intent, in which you explain why you are applying for the fellowship, your professional interests, and your career goals. The letter should not exceed 500 words.
5) Three Letters of Reference from professional references that are less than 6 months old.
It is important to note that incomplete applications will not be processed.
The fellowship program has two recruitment cycles annually, with starting dates of July and January, respectively. Applications are accepted year-round, but there are semi-annual deadlines for each starting period: August 31 for July start and February 28 for January start.
The selection process includes a review of application packages, selection of candidates for official interviews, conduct of official interviews, and a final ranking with the selection of successful candidates. Official offer letters are typically sent out by December 1 and June 1 for each recruitment cycle.
