In response to decision XIII/13 on invasive alien species, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity invites Parties, other Governments, relevant organizations, biological invasion experts and indigenous peoples and local communities to complete this survey and provide information on measures to reduce the risk of biological invasions.

The questions in this survey are grouped into eight sections:

The information submitted through this survey will be considered under the relevant processes of the Convention on Biological Diversity such as expert meetings, consultations with relevant international organizations and the twenty-second meeting of Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (2-7 July 2018), as appropriate.
