CAPCE Halton Region from January 2025 - April 2025

This course is being offered for those working in the Halton/Peel regions. Learners must have access to an internet-enabled computer or internet-enabled mobile device. All classes are live and interactive. Class time should be free of interruptions.

Mandatory Program Components of CAPCE include:
• Self-directed reading and reflection (on Brightspace D2L Learning Platform)
• Quizzes and Discussion Board Posts (on Brightspace D2L Learning Platform)
• Coaching Sessions
• Peer-to-Peer (learning debrief)
• Final Assignment

This course will take approximately 4 months to complete. If the learner is not meeting the mandatory components for the course a contract commitment may be required.

Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care is a pre-requisite for CAPCE. This application form must be completed by the nurse applying to take CAPCE. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be done in one sitting. It cannot be saved and retrieved at a later time.

If you have not completed a required question, you will be directed back to the missed question. All applications will be reviewed by the CAPCE team. Due to the large volume of applicants, acceptance into the course is based on your answers to the questions in this survey. Those who are accepted will receive notification by email with a link for payment by November 8, 2024. Deadline for payment is December 6, 2024.
