We offer grants for Alabama teachers who wish to become Certified Academic Language Therapists (CALTs) and who are applying for admission to an Alabama-based CALT training program accredited by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC).

We began this scholarship program during the summer of 2022 as we provided tuition scholarships to six individuals admitted to the UA-CALT program at the University of Alabama.

Complete this application if you wish to be considered for an Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation CALT Grant. Applications must be received by December 15 each year and grant recipients will be notified by April 1.
TO BE AWARDED AN ALABAMA SCOTTISH CALT GRANT, YOU MUST LET US KNOW TO WHICH IMSLEC ACCREDITED PROGRAM YOU HAVE BEEN ADMITTED.
