Thank you for your interest in becoming a foster parent for the Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. There are two local URM provider agencies: Catholic Charities Dallas Children’s Services and Upbring. In order to ensure an equitable distribution of prospective foster parent inquiries, the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants (USCRI) operates a centralized, neutral intake process to collect basic information from all prospective foster parents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. USCRI will use the information collected in this form to determine the most appropriate URM provider agency to provide more information about the URM program and work with you further.
