What are the housing and community development needs in your neighborhood? The City of La Mesa receives Community Development Block Grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) each year for housing and community development projects that benefit households with low to moderate incomes. Every five years, the City must update their Consolidated Plan to outline how these federal funds will be used to address community needs in La Mesa over the next five years.

As a member of the community, your insight on how these funds should be invested is important! Please complete this survey to provide input on how these federal funds should be invested. All survey responses are anonymous, and no effort will be made to identify respondents.

Directions: As you complete the survey, please consider (1) the needs of your community and (2) how those needs could be better addressed. Keep in mind that available funding is very limited and prioritizing your responses is of great importance.

The deadline for completing this survey is Thursday, December 19, 2024. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact us at housing@cityoflamesa.us or 619-667-1159.

Please note that we have a separate survey for City of La Mesa CDBG program stakeholders, which are groups or organizations who address housing and community development needs in La Mesa. If you or your organization would like to be added to our stakeholder contact list and receive the stakeholder survey, please contact us at housing@cityoflamesa.us or 619-667-1159.
