This workshop will provide producers with in-depth information
about Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
voluntary science-based guidelines designed to reduce
microbial contamination during growing, harvesting, and
packing fresh fruits and vegetables.

Topics will include:
• Worker health and hygiene
• Packing and storage sanitation
• Recordkeeping for food safety compliance

Participants will learn about the USDA GAP certification
program, including its benefits, auditing process, and
resources available through the USDA program administered
by the Arizona Department of Agriculture.
