Feedback on BMCHP Clinical Model

Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan (BMCHP) is transitioning to a new model for the management of behavioral health services.

Effective July 1, 2019, BMCHP will assume internal responsibility for care management, utilization management, and quality responsibilities for most populations. BMCHP will continue to utilize Beacon Health Options to provide other administrative functions including network management and claims processing. In adopting this approach, BMCHP intends for the transition to minimize disruption to providers.

BMCHP is interested in provider feedback about the transition, including areas where providers might prefer changes. BMCHP transition leadership will present an overview of the new model and solicit feedback from the ABH membership on Wednesday, January 30th (registration information at www.abhmass.org). To help them prepare, we ask you to review the one-pager that was attached to the email with the survey link and complete this survey. No individually-identifiable information will be shared with BMCHP.
