Jazzy Quinabo is a Project Engineer working in the Transportation and Strategic Consulting divisions at Jacobs. She has been involved with ASCE OC YMF since 2015, and is presently serving as the Treasurer and PE Review Co-chair. Throughout her time in ASCE OC YMF, Jazzy has enjoyed participating in and planning events for the Programs, Speaker Series, Mentorship, University Outreach, K-12 Outreach, and Government Relations committees. Serving on the Executive Board of ASCE OC YMF for the past two years and attending various National Conventions, Institute Conferences, WRYMCs, and YMLS has provided her with lasting relationships and great insight as to how ASCE functions on the local, regional, and societal level. Concurrently as the ASCE OC Branch Social and Programs Co-Chair, Jazzy has helped to coordinate luncheons, technical tours, and the past three Awards Dinners, History & Heritage/Student Nights, and Annual Golf Tournaments.
As President-Elect for ASCE OC YMF, Jazzy would like to continue building upon and offering beneficial professional development programs, technical tours, panels, and networking events that bring the local and regional engineering communities together. To capitalize on the Dream Big campaign, she would like to focus her term on increasing engagement between High School, University students, and local civil engineering firms and public agencies. Jazzy is eternally grateful for all the personal, professional, social, networking, leadership, and growth opportunities that ASCE OC YMF has provided her with and is graciously humbled to be considered as President-Elect for ASCE OC YMF.
Election to this position is a three year term; the first year the officer will serve as the President Elect of YMF. The officer will preside as the President of YMF in the second year, and then advise the following President as the Past President in the third and final year.
