1.Rebecca Taratuta for President Elect-
I have been a nurse practitioner for 10 years and in the medical field for 25 years. I started attending APNO meetings as a student and am grateful to the organization for what it has brought me--preceptors, education, friends and so much more; we are so fortunate to have this organization! I currently work for Optum, traveling all over the state of Missouri to see patients in their homes. I try to attend as many of the meetings as my schedule will allow. Thank you so much for considering me to serve on the board again!
2.Tarrah Divine for Secretary-
Hi APNO! Just a quick bio about me.

I am Tarrah Divine (Tarrah Blevins as many of you know me). I graduated from Cox College of Nursing in May 2000. I spent the majority of my bedside nursing career at Cox, mainly in CCU/MICU. I left Missouri to experience travel nursing in 2007. I spent the majority of my travel nursing time in Tampa, FL. I worked at several hospitals in Tampa including Moffitt Cancer Center. I decided to head home in 2009 to pursue Nurse Practitioner school.

I graduated from University of Central Missouri in December 2013. I hit the ground running as an NP in Mercy Cardiology in March 2014. I worked with Dr. John Hawkins in interventional cardiology. I loved my time there but God had other plans for me. My husband and I were told that we would never conceive by natural means- but I discovered I was pregnant on the eve of my 41st birthday. A “geriatric pregnancy” smack dab in the middle of a pandemic. Unable to find childcare in 2021, I resigned from my NP career to take on a new role as a stay at home mom.

Our little girl started “pre”-preschool last fall and another door opened for me. In November 2023, I started working for St. Croix Hospice and I absolutely love it. I did not realize how much I had missed taking care of patients. I have loved turning my nursing brain back on!

I attended the Cradle to the Grave conference last week and I was reminded how much I truly enjoy and miss being around fellow NP’s. When approached about the APNO Secretary position I was an automatic “YES”. I am honored even to be considered for the position.
3.Carolyn Marley for Co-Treasurer-
Carolyn S Marley, MSN, ANP-C is a retiree of 6 months as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. Meeting the requirements for the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification, has allowed me to practice as a NP for 21 years. The practice setting has been focused in Emergency Medicine and Advanced Urgent Care.

Goals at this point are to connect with people on a personal level. Throughout my career, numbers were the goal, not anymore. A topic near and dear to my heart is to provide support and encouragement to practicing Nurse Practitioners. NP’s must learn to take care of themselves and avoid burnout while provided excellent, personal patient care. Our Patients Need YOU!!!

Biggest accomplishment is my Daughter. I also have a rental business which is keeping me busy in retirement. I love being a business owner, making my own decisions and working with new friends living in my houses.

A quirky fun fact I bet no one knows is, I have an Associate Degree from Bauder Fashion College of Atlanta. Yes I have a degree in Apparel Design. I was raised in a fabric store so what else was I to do??
4.Tara Parvathaneni for Primary Nurse Planner
