Bus Queensland are shamefully refusing Government funding for a pay rise for their drivers. These drivers deserve their Union-won pay rise, following a Transport Workers’ Union campaign.

Bus drivers and TWU Members from around the state helped secure a $155 million investment from the State Government, increasing bus driver wages to $35 per hour by 2025.

With a cost-of-living crisis and current bus driver shortages across the state, this is a disgraceful move by Bus Queensland.
