Responsible AI Adoption for Funders |
Thursday, February 22 | 12:00pm-1:00pm (CT)
As society wrestles with the increasing prevalence of AI tools, grantmakers are no outlier in this evolving landscape. Many grantmakers are already asking important questions about AI such as:
- How can AI be infused into our organization's operations?
- Can AI be used without compromising data security?
- How can we ensure AI adoption does not worsen existing inequities?
- In what ways can AI be strategically employed to augment our overall impact?
Join Technology Association of Grantmakers (TAG) for a discussion regarding the recent release of its groundbreaking "Responsible AI Adoption in Philanthropy" framework. A collaborative effort between TAG and Project Evident, this framework was released in December 2023 with the goal of providing essential guidance on the responsible and equitable use of artificial intelligence (AI) within grantmaking organizations. During this event, you can expect to learn about the collaborative process that resulted in this first version as well as hear from peers and practitioners who contributed to the development of the framework. Don't miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the framework's design principles and how they foster equity, transparency, and responsible AI adoption.
Speakers will include Jean Westrick, Executive Director, TAG & Gozi Egbuonu, Director of Programs, TAG.
