ASTCT Abstract Travel Grant Application - 2025 Tandem Meetings of ASTCT and CIBMTR

Grant Program Description

ASTCT is awarding a total of 25 travel grants of $1500 each, payable post-meeting, for the 2025 Tandem Meetings of ASTCT & CIBMTR, taking place February 12-15 in Honolulu.

Grant applications will be due Sunday, December 1st, at 11:59PM Central Time (UTC-6:00).

Note: Be aware that grant payment may take several weeks after the close of the conference. Consider this when making financial arrangements to attend.

To qualify, applicants must be:

A current ASTCT Member

Enrolled in an accredited training program (including, but not limited to: BMT, cellular therapy, hematology/oncology, infectious diseases or immunology)
Listed as an author on an abstract submitted for the current year Tandem Meeting

Grants will only be awarded to those whose abstracts have been accepted by the Tandem Meetings.

The application begins on the next page and requires all of the following:

Applicant name, address and ASTCT Member Number
Title and ID# of submitted abstract
A letter from the applicant's training program director attesting to the applicant's trainee status
A letter from the applicant attesting financial need to attend the conference

Judging by a selected ASTCT Committee will commence following the announcement of accepted abstracts. Judges will make grant decisions based on: trainee status, financial need, abstract ranking/score, merit, and balance of representation among abstract categories.
