NPC Transition from Pre-school to Primary School Information session for Parents with NCSE

The transition from pre-school to primary school can be one of the most important transitions that your child will make. By providing this programme for you, we can support you to support your child to make a smooth transition between pre-school and primary school. The success of this transition can benefit your child all the way through primary school providing better outcomes for your child socially, emotionally and educationally.

NPC (National Parents Council) are working in partnership with the NCSE (National Council for Special Education) to deliver a regional online parent workshop on transitions from pre-school to primary school for children with special educational needs. This workshop will cover lots of practical hints, tips, and advice to support parents to support their children as they reach this important milestone in their lives. In addition to our universal transitions programme a local Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) from the NCSE will join us to deliver the second part of the workshop which is focused on supporting children with special educational needs.  

These webinars will be running on different dates in March 2023. If you would be interested in attending (virtually) one of these webinars please register your details here. The region indicates which area the SENO in that session will be from for that session, however you are free to choose any session if the time or day for your own region does not suit.

Please note these sessions will be interactive allowing parents to participate and hence places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
