Big Sky Trails, Recreation and Parks - Community Input 2023
Do you appreciate Big Sky’s trails, recreational areas and parks? If so, we need your help to continue funding the maintenance and operations of these valuable assets.
Up until now, funds from the Big Sky Resort Area District (BSRAD) have been used to operate and maintain our trails, recreational areas and parks. We are now looking for your support to ensure these assets continue to be a benefit to you and the rest of the community.
The Big Sky Trails, Recreation and Parks District (BSTRP) is seeking the approval of an assessment of $88.62 to be added to each property tax statement. For less than 25 cents a day, you can invest in the future of Big Sky.
BSRAD will continue to fund 50% of the ongoing costs. This assessment will supplement that funding and support the other 50% needed to operate and maintain the trails, recreational areas and parks in Big Sky.
With this funding, the district will continue to thrive and be able to add more trails, recreational areas and parks. Without this investment, the experiences you have now with the district’s amenities will change.
