Duties include tracking the physical and mental health of participants and making referrals when necessary; developing stress management programming; liaising with the Wellness and Counseling Centers; remaining abreast of COVID protocols and, in conjunction with the Wellness Center and BSA leaders, coordinating efforts to prevent or reduce the spread of infections. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Activities Coordinator: responsible for the planning and management of evening and weekend activities. Duties include developing an activities calendar; collaborating with BSA staff to develop programming that serves a wide range of interests; collaborating with the logistics and assessment coordinators to ensure proper distribution of supplies and monitoring of programming; communicating with SIs to ensure that students maintain a health work-life balance; developing programming in coordination with SIs, where appropriate, including Study-A-Thon programming and other cross-over events (e.g. trivia nights, open mics) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Supplies/Logistics Coordinator: responsible for the monitoring and distribution of supplies. Duties include processing, organizing, and tracking inventory; reporting low inventory and damaged or missing supplies; developing systems for supply distribution; distributing supplies to faculty, mentors, and SIs; monitoring incoming shipments. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Community Building and Restorative Justice Coordinator: responsible for establishing and maintaining a cohesive community. Duties include developing community-building programming that promotes healthy relationships, communication, and collaboration; leading Circles and other restorative justice practices; in collaboration with BSA leaders, coordinating mediation and conflict resolution processes. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Athletics Ambassador: responsible for liaising with the Athletics Department. Duties include maintaining communication with coaches, developing programming, discussion groups and other processes to aid student-athletes in navigating work-life balance. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Social Media Representative: responsible for shaping the BSA narrative through social media. Responsibilities include developing and curating content for Instagram, including reels, posts, and stories; in collaboration with BSA leaders, developing content for future publication aimed at recruiting scholars and employees; reporting engagement data. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Travel Coordinator: Oversee the communication and coordination of off-campus travel. Duties include communicating travel plans , logistics, and related details to staff and scholars; establishing check-in and safety protocols while off campus; in collaboration with the Logistics Coordinators, ensuring that supplies, food, and other resources are loaded and unloaded in a timely manner; monitoring attendance to ensure all scholars are accounted for; monitoring and responding to the needs of students with disabilities or injuries; in collaboration with activities coordinators, developing programming that facilitates the preparation or processing of off-campus co-curricular activities. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Academic Liaison: Responsible for maintaining an open line of communication between mentors and SIs. Duties include liaising with SIs, scholars, and faculty to maintain communication and collaboration; coaching scholars to advocate for themselves in the classroom; coordinating with mentors to develop connections between activities and academics; sharing feedback with mentors about students’ academic engagement; collaborating with staff to create mentor-scholar reflection prompts; maintaining communication with the ELSS Academic Counseling Specialist and BSU’s Director of Disability Support Services 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Nutrition Coordinator: Responsible for ensuring that the community’s nutrition needs are met. Duties include connecting students who have special dietary needs with the campus Nutritionist; following up with scholars who have special dietary needs to ensure that their needs are consistently met; maintaining communication with Dining Services; coordinating the off-campus meal ordering process. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 Artist in Residence: Responsible for leading arts-related programming.
