Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) is proud to announce its partnership with Grow Tourism and Powrsuit to support the launch of its new ‘Women in Tourism Career Accelerator’ programme.

Designed specifically for women in the tourism industry, the professional development programme aims to provide practical tools, knowledge, and connections to help women accelerate their careers.

Valued at $499, TIA has scholarships for three deserving wāhine in the tourism industry.

Nominations close on Friday 11 April and winners will be announced on Friday 18 April.
Simply follow the steps below to nominate a woman in tourism who you believe would benefit from this programme.

While making your nomination, please consider that all nominations will be assessed on the following:
  • Impact on career: How the scholarship will contribute to their career growth and development in tourism
  • Community/Industry contribution: Nominees contributions to the tourism industry and her potential for future impact
  • Storytelling Quality: How compelling and authentic her personal story is.
