COMMUNITY GARDEN TRAINING SURVEY

Dear community gardener,

We want to ensure your participation in your local community garden is a successful experience.  Thus, we ask you take advantage of the free class series on gardening that will be offered this Fall, 2022.
Dallas County Health & Human Services (DCHHS), in collaboration with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, will be offering a 7 class series that will include the following topics: 

1. Introduction to Community Garden Logistics (Getting organized /Funding/ Volunteer Recruitment)
2. Earth-kind (soils, irrigation)
3. Veggies 101
4. Integrated Pest Management
5. Harvesting & storing/Farmer’s markets
6. Fruits 101
7. Backyard chickens

The course will take place at the Urban Farm facilities in Garland (715 Rowlett Rd., Garland, 75043).  Each class will last approximately 2.5 hours. DCHHS will provide transportation assistance if needed.
We are conducting this survey to determine the most convenient schedule for gardeners like you. Therefore, please indicate below which day(s) and time(s) would be the most convenient for you (select two max).
