Northbank BID Public Realm and Sustainability Survey |
Introduction
Thank you for taking time today to undertake our survey on some exciting public realm aspirations for Strand west (between Trafalgar Square and Waterloo Bridge) and sustainability.
We are working with local organisations to develop Strand area enhancements and for conditions where business can thrive. This includes ambitious area regeneration to create a world class city district which is welcoming, safe and healthy.
We are working with partners to enhance the areas character and provide a high-quality visitor experience with upgraded space for pedestrians and cycling with improved landscape quality materials and greening. In parallel, sustainable initiatives to support businesses for sustainable operations which help tackle congestion, air quality and reduce carbon.
These are extremely challenging times for central London, and it is with practical coordinated actions that Northbank can be suitably supported for recovery and a resilient vibrant future.
