Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, together with its partners the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology (IoO) and Moorfields Eye Charity, will be relocating to a new integrated centre for advancing eye health in Camden in 2027. Question Title

* 13. Travelling to the new eye care centre

In line with the London Borough of Camden’s policy on parking and the highly accessible location of the new centre, we will not have car parking on site (drop off only).

If you are able to use public transport, this is the recommended option for your journey. There are two recommended ways of reaching the new centre when travelling by train or underground:

a. Kings Cross and St Pancras stations have a step-free route from all platforms and the external 900m pedestrian route will have a painted green line to the new centre. The stations have the following rail connections: National overground lines, multiple London underground lines, Highspeed 1, East Midlands Railways and Thameslink.

b. Mornington Crescent underground station only has the northern line but is closer to the new centre with a walking distance of 600m. The station is not step-free, and will not have a green line on the external pedestrian route.

(For comparison, Moorfields Eye Hospital City Road site is approximately 300m from Old Street tube station).

We are interested in understanding how you might travel to the new eye care centre.
