What is Parivar Bay Area? Why is this survey important?

Parivar Bay Area is the nation’s only transgender-led, and transgender-centering, South Asian organization with a mission to cultivate solidarity and community by principles of love, acceptance, and light. Parivar strives to continuously uphold transgender economic justice, healthcare equity, intersectional unity, social inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ immigration equity–most notably, by centering Global South immigrants and asylees. 

This survey aims to survey ALL transgender and queer immigrants, irregardless of country of origin, in San Francisco to better understand the current quality of life and how to build a more equitable and prosperous future.
