Signing up for the British Medical Association (BMA) focus group on diversity in doctors' careers.

A note about confidentiality.

This research aims to give the British Medical Association (BMA) an understanding of the reasons underlying persistent racial inequities in the careers of doctors in the U.K. The study will seek to understand how aspects of identity such as race and ethnicity intersect with gender, age, disability, sexual orientation and other protected characteristics to affect career outcome trajectories. Our discussion will focus mainly on Progression, Developmental Relationships, and the Impact of the Pandemic.

We know that we are asking you to provide us with personal and sensitive data and therefore want to reassure you that your responses are confidential and will not be shared with anyone other than the research team.

On receipt of your registration, we will send out a doodle poll link and you will have the opportunity to sign up to focus groups scheduled between the 18th of October, 2021 and the 30th of November, 2021.
