Welcome

The Dunvegan Community Action Plan project is being facilitated by Dunvegan Community Trust with the support of Dunvegan Community Council (DCC). The resulting Plan will belong to everyone: to demonstrate needs and plan projects to address them. We welcome responses from everyone connected to the Dunvegan area (another version is available for residents outside the DCC area) . But to make the best use of your input, we do need to know your area of permanent residence.

We are holding a prize draw (3 prizes of £100) to reward our community contributors. Instructions for online responses are on the final page. Winners will be drawn at the Report Launch event at the end of March.

Every response matters, to help shape and communicate our priorities for the next ten years. (All responses are anonymous. Individual responses will be held securely, never shared - even with Trustees or Trust employees - and will be deleted once analysis is complete.)

Dunvegan Community Trust SCIO (DCT) is a development trust compliant with Community Right-to-Buy legislation (under Pt.2 of the Land Reform Scotland Act and the Community empowerment Act) It is currently the only compliant group in the area. Such land becomes an asset for the Trust and community, not just an outlay. Do you - in principle - support Dunvegan Community Trust owning land to respond to future community needs?
