One of the challenges that Lenawee County has is that we don't have a landfill that provides tipping fees to fund our solid waste and recycling programs. The state will provide some funds for the implementation of the new Materials Management Plan, and it's very important that we utilize every penny to create a program that reflects the needs and the wants of our residents.
The results of this survey will help guide our committee as they write a Materials Management Plan that not only meets state mandates, but the needs of Lenawee County residents as well. Thank you for your time!
