Building generational wealth for communities of color requires multifaceted, multiracial, intersectional, and cross-sectoral approaches. The Boulder Fund is EdLoC’s multimillion-dollar grant program intentionally designed to place essential funds directly into the hands of early-stage changemakers of color. Since 2018, EdLoC has proudly committed $5.9 million in grants and funded 45 organizations across the country, and EdLoC members and supporters have committed time to select, advise, and support each year’s cohort.

Pre-Screeners: Review applications and help to select finalists.
(Total estimated commitment: 8-12 hours)

Selectors: Be part of the team responsible for making the final decision on grant recipients, including attending our in person Selection Day event in early March, 2025.

Advisors: Get paired with applicants to provide candid feedback on draft proposals. Prospective applicants have shared that these consultancies have been invaluable to their growth as leaders and fundraisers.
