The Women’s Parliament is a project powered by Empowering Women for Excellence that models the ideals of democracy and participatory governance. It provides a platform for girls and women to raise issues of interest and engage with policy and decision makers, providing evidence-based arguments and clear calls to action.

Any woman or girl who is competent to “argue” her case can be invited as a parliamentarian. A parliamentarian serves on a voluntary basis and will only have her transport covered for meetings and an appearance at the parliament. She will also be featured on the EWEI website, may be invited to other EWEI events, and encouraged to continue to engage with us remotely and on site when possible.
