Introduction

COMPLETE OUR SURVEY AND HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN ONE OF FIVE WEEKLY $50 GIFT CARDS.

The Petawawa Public Library is undertaking an update of its Strategic Plan to guide our activities and priorities over the next four years, and we need your input – regardless of whether you’re a frequent user, an occasional user, or if you have never before darkened our doors (or internet portal)!

As Petawawa is a large and growing community, we want to ensure that we plan for our entire library system's future growth and development. This will include an opportunity for you to provide feedback on:

  • our facilities;
  • our collections and online resources;
  • our programs and services;
  • the technology we use;
  • the partnerships we have with other community organizations; and
  • new and innovative things we might do in future to better serve our community.
This is where you come in. This survey is an opportunity for you to give us your thoughts about all of the above (and more, if you so choose). This online survey is entirely CONFIDENTIAL – the firm we have retained to assist us (TCI Management Consultants, specialists in library and cultural planning, in association with Beth Ross Associates and other library specialists) will protect all personally identifiable information.

The survey should take you only about 20 minutes to complete. The survey will be open until midnight, July 13, 2024. Once you have started the survey, please continue until the end, otherwise your survey responses will have to be re-entered.

As a thank you for your participation, eligible respondents* have the option of being entered into a draw for one of five $50 grocery store gift cards which will be drawn once a week over the survey period, to be spent at The Independent (or PC grocery stores). And don't worry, if you don't win during the early draws, your name will still be eligible for subsequent draws.

Should you have any questions at all about the Strategic Plan project itself, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at the coordinates below. Or, if you have questions about the survey specifically, contact Greg Young, the Project Director at TCI Management Consultants.

Your participation helps keep our library system strong, relevant and responsive! Thank you!

Sincerely,
