Durham Cathedral is a safe space where everyone is welcome. We are hosting our third annual Safeguarding Week from 24 - 29 September 2024 to show support for victims and survivors of abuse, and encourage our community to reflect on the words of those whose lives have been affected by abuse.
Pillars of Hope is an installation displayed in the Galilee Chapel during the week, giving voice to victims and survivors of abuse.
If you would like to add a ribbon to the installation but do not wish to enter the cathedral or are unable to, you can select a ribbon from the colours below and a cathedral member of staff will tie your chosen ribbon to the installation, on your behalf.
