Are you ready to take a more active role with the AABC Foundation?  We seek individuals committed to the birth center model of care to join our committees and board of trustees.  
 

Get involved by joining one of our active and critical committees:

  • Development Committee - plans fundraising efforts and campaigns
  • Finance Committee - provides oversight of budgeting and financial planning
  • Giving Committee - reviews grant and scholarship applications for recommendation
  • Governance Committee - finds new board members and ensures the board operates at its fullest potential
  • Gala/Auction Committee - plans our largest annual fundraising event, the Gala to Grow Birth Centers
 
The AABC Foundation's mission is to raise funds to support the advancement of the AABC birth center model as the standard to improve maternity and women's health care.

 
As an AABC Foundation committee member, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop your leadership skills while volunteering with a national foundation.
  • Promote women's reproductive health and well-being.
  • Support the birth center model of care.
 
On average, committee members spend 1-2 hours every other month in their role.  Meetings are typically 1 hour and are held every other month on a weekday between 9am-5pm ET.
 
Committee volunteers are essential to the success of the AABC Foundation. Thank you for applying to support us and the birth center model of care.
