Please indicate which eligibility criteria you meet (tick ALL applicable) I am affiliated with an organisation, either as a staff member or volunteer, which will support me with running Bookbug Sessions. I plan to deliver regular Bookbug Sessions I plan to deliver Bookbug Sessions to groups of children (0-5 years old) with their parents or carers, not just to groups of children by themselves. I am over 16 I plan to start leading Bookbug Sessions within two months of my training course Question Title * 5. Course RequirementsThere is a small amount of preparation work to be completed which will be sent to you two weeks in advance of the session. Once you have attended the Bookbug Session Leader training, you will receive login details for TalentLMS, our Bookbug Session Leader information and communication portal. There is a short follow up module to be completed, the Bookbug Session Leader Agreement, which will activate your Bookbug Session Leader membership, and you will be able to start running Bookbug Session. You will be required to complete a short ‘refresher’ module annually to continue your membership and allow you to carry on running sessions. You will be expected to abide by our session leader agreement and code of conduct. Bookbug Sessions must be free for families to attend. Ongoing contact with the Bookbug ProgrammeIn order to monitor the effectiveness of our training and the provision of Bookbug across Scotland, we require all trainees who have attended a funded Bookbug training course to provide us with feedback and share statistical information on an annual basis. To facilitate this process we will share your contact details with the Bookbug Coordinator in your Local Authority. Bookbug Coordinators and Scottish Book Trust will only contact you in relation to Bookbug training, Bookbug programme updates and to request your feedback.
