The City of Anderson’s Community Development Department wants to hear from you about the type of services and programs that Anderson needs. We are preparing a five-year Consolidated Plan that covers 2020 -2025 and an Annual Action Plan for 2020-2021. Your input is needed to assist us in determining the community development needs and housing needs for Anderson as well as guide the allocation of federal funds and other resources in our community.
Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (Fair Housing Act), as amended, prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings, and in other housing-related transactions, based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status (including children under the age of 18 living with parents or legal custodians, pregnant women, and people securing custody of children under the age of 18), and handicap (disability). We want to hear from you about your experience with fair housing issues and concerns.
