Water Use Consultation

The landscape and horticulture industry are frequently over-looked as stakeholders when water management, abstraction and irrigation agendas are set by the Government. Consequently, our industries miss out on opportunities to maintain access to water during drought events, participate in consultations and shape policy.

This survey aims to map out the ways water is used within our membership. The Association will use this information to identify trends, helping the Association understand what can be done to help members. Whether it is lobbying for improved guidance and legislation from the Government, pursuing exemption from temporary use bans, or playing more of an active role in the best practices of water usage, the Association endeavours to improve access to and usage of water for members.
