Now in its eighth edition, WIPR Leaders 2025 aims to identify the leading professionals with expertise in advising on international and multi-jurisdictional matters for major global clients across numerous jurisdictions. We are also interested in recognising individuals who have demonstrated exceptional ability in handling significant matters within their home jurisdictions.
This survey is designed to help us gather qualitative data to reveal which professionals are the most highly respected in the market by their peers and why. The findings will be published in WIPR Leaders 2025, which will be available online in May 2025.

We are currently accepting nominations in the following four categories:
- Firm Nominations: Marketing teams and heads of departments are invited to submit nominations on behalf of their firms. Please note that we are looking to identify the ‘Shop Window’ lawyers only. For firm nominations, please contact Baron Armah-Kwantreng, Rankings Editor, at barmah-kwantreng@worldipreview.com. We expect these lists to typically include no more than 15 lawyers per firm.
- Self Nominations: If you wish to be considered for the 2025 list, you may submit a self-nomination along with information supporting your candidacy. You are encouraged to reach out to your own peers at other firms and within your trusted referral networks to nominate you. You may also coordinate with your marketing team for this type of nomination.
- Colleague Nominations: If you wish to nominate a colleague from your firm, we encourage you to collaborate with your marketing team to submit the nomination.
- Peer Nominations: This is your opportunity to nominate a colleague or peer in the IP field whom you believe deserves a place on the 2025 list.
Our goal is to provide a current and reliable reference for senior in-house and private practice counsel on the intellectual property lawyers worldwide who are trusted to advise on clients’ most significant matters.
