* 13. · MFAT is collecting your personal information for the purpose of processing/ considering applications for Party Overflow Badges for COP29. Your personal information will only be shared with the UNFCCC, other relevant New Zealand Government agencies and third-party suppliers for its intended purpose. We note we will store and destroy your information in accordance with the requirements of the New Zealand Privacy Act.

· If approved, your badge will be listed as registered in the UNFCCC participants system under ‘New Zealand’, but you will not be part of the New Zealand official delegation and will not be able to access closed sessions.

· You are not authorized to speak on behalf of the New Zealand Government or represent yourself as such.

· We expect that information you are providing is accurate and true.
New Zealand Party Overflow badge holders must act consistently with UNFCCC Code of Conduct and the laws of the host Country.

· The New Zealand government maintains full discretion to approve or remove a New Zealand Party Overflow Badge from any individual at COP29.

· New Zealand Party Overflow badge holders are fully responsible for their own travel, accommodation and health and safety. The Government is not able to provide any extra assistance to COP29 participants over and above assistance provided to all New Zealanders as part of normal consular services.
