Qualifications for the Head Coach of a U19 Boys or U19 Girls National team:
- Must be USAU Level I Certified or be willing to obtain Level I certification prior to the event.
- Level II certification highly desired in all head coach applicants
- Must have passed (obtain a green light) an NCSI background check
- Must be available to attend the Youth Club Championships in Blaine, Minnesota on August 7-9, 2015
- Must be available to help run & provide input to the YCC Talent Identification Camp in Blaine, Minnesota on August 10, 2015 (Monday). Stipend will be provided.
- Must be able to attend 2 try out camps to be held in October/November 2015 (location TBD)
- Must NOT be coaching a 2015 YCC team
- Must be able to attend a week of training camp prior to the WFDF U19 event (exact dates and location TBD)
- Must be able to attend the WFDF U19 event in 2016 (exact dates and location TBD - likely July/Aug 2016)
Head Coaches will be selected by the USA Ultimate Coaching Committee and USA Ultimate staff.
The US U19 Team Head Coach will have a demonstrated commitment to strong character and sportsmanship and will be chosen based on the following criteria:
- Ultimate coaching experience
- Ability and willingness to work with USAU administration and support USA Ultimate's mission and goals
- Ability to work with youth players
- Experience with international competition
