Application for Associate Social Media Editor - Trainee

Seminars in Vascular Surgery is seeing applications for one or two trainees to serve as Associate Social Media Editor. The Associate Social Media Editor(s) will work primarily with the Social Media Editor (Gert Frahm-Jensen MBSS), as well as the Editor-in-Chief (Caitlin Hicks MD, MS) and circulating Guest Editors, to create and circulate content related to the journal on various social media platforms.

Ideal candidates are vascular surgery trainees (residents or fellows) who are interested in learning about the editorial process and have a presence on social media. Applicants should have experience with Twitter and other platforms, and be prepared to initiate and promote journal content on those platforms. Video editing expertise is preferred, but not required.

The time commitment is variable but estimated to be ~2-4 hours per month.
