Art Feeds believes all children are imaginative, curious, creative, innovative and our greatest resource. To fuel these valuable skills, Art Feeds implements creative and expressive programming in partnership with schools and children’s organizations.
This application is for the 2023-2024 school year. Art Feeds Community Assist is designed to provide free programming for schools that lack the financial resources to purchase Art Feeds training and curriculum outright. Art Feeds Community Assist will give the school or organization an opportunity to receive training on the Art Feeds Method and with a Creative Arts Therapist, access to curriculum through one free year of Art Feeds Online (a curriculum site with 400+ lessons), ongoing support from Art Feeds staff throughout the year and supplies to implement the lessons.
The amount of programming awarded is contingent upon annual fundraisers and grants received by Art Feeds. This application allows our Board of Directors to discern the need and compatibility of the school or children’s organizations that wish to receive programming. The application is open year round, but the application deadline is 11:59 pm CST November 19th, 2022. If applicants are chosen for phase 2 of the process, the applicant will be asked to participate in an interview in November. Selections will be announced in January. All recipients of Art Feeds Community Assist will get free access to Art Feeds Online in the 2023-2024 school year with along with training, supplies, and ongoing support.
Scoring: To assess initial scoring, we’ve developed a scoring protocol that ranks each school or org by criteria. Each criteria will be scored 1 through 5 for a total potential score of 15. Each score is based on the following definition:
1= Does not meet criteria 2= Might meet criteria 3=Meets criteria 4=Strongly meets criteria 5= Very strongly meets criteria
