1MYAC ART-ivism Project Submission
1MYAC is turning one year old in summer 2022!
To celebrate, we are holding a virtual exhibition and competition displaying creative and innovative works completed by the 1MYAC community around the theme “How can we act for the environment?”
Express what the exhibition theme means to you via your creative work, and choose one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 1MYAC focuses on as your starting point:
SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production SDG 13: Climate Action SDG 15: Life on Land
You can participate as an individual or as a group!
The best works will be chosen on the exhibition day and awarded a special 1MYAC prize, while the rest will be then immortalized in the 1MYAC campaign to be displayed at future international conferences and events on environmental action.
Submission:
Submit your art piece to the 1MYAC ART-ivism Project by August 1st 2022. It can take any form (painting, photography, video, music poetry, performance, spoken word, etc.), but needs to be appropriate for display in a virtual format.
Make sure to upload your art piece as file or link here, or alternatively email it to: info@1myac.com. Your work will be stored in a private database to be displayed in the virtual exhibition.
Remember to go to 1MYAC.com and register your piece as a ‘Spread Awareness’ 1MYAC Standard Action under the UN Sustainable Development Goal you chose to focus on. It would be fantastic if you also submit any documentation of your creative process as your action monitoring data.
