Introduction

Kleinburg is growing and the City of Vaughan is building two parks to serve the new Nashville-Kleinburg community – Algoma Park (42 Algoma Dr.) and Nashville Park (639 Barons St.). These two parks will be located north of East’s Corners Boulevard, south of Nashville Road, east of Huntington Road and west of the railway. In addition to the parks, an outdoor fitness area will also be built along a section of the nearby Mactier Greenway.

In June 2023, the City held an Open House to learn about the community’s needs and desires for these two new parks and engaged residents on programming and design options.

Now, in June 2024, we are engaging residents once again!

The feedback received from the Open House has been used to inform the design for each park. The design package (PDF) is now available for the community’s review, illustrating the themes and amenities proposed for each park. At this stage, we’d like to hear your thoughts on the designs.
