This non-juried exhibition invites adult students who are taking or have taken classes at the Worcester Art Museum to share their amazing art!
The exhibition will be displayed in The Museum's Higgins Education Wing exhibition space and be free and open to the public.
Applicability: Any adult (18+) who has attended or is attending a studio art class at the Worcester Art Museum may submit one piece. Artists are encouraged to submit works which they made using techniques and ideas learned in a WAM course. Students will have the opportunity to share a brief artist's statement, in which they may explain how their art education at the Museum shaped their process and inspiration.
Size: Maximum dimensions: 2D work no larger than 3’ x 3' when framed, 3D work no larger than 2'x3'x2' and 50 lbs. No multi-part artworks, such as diptychs and triptychs.
Ready to Hang: All work must be ready to hang/install with a wire, a hanging hook, or be able to be thumbtacked to the wall.
Drop-off: You may drop-off your artwork in the Higgins Education Wing between 3/30/2025-4/6/2025, 9:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
No artwork will be accepted after April 6, 2025.
Art Pick Up: 5/12-6/2 (9:30 AM - 4:00 PM), no pick-ups 5/24-5/26
