Thank you for your interest in serving on the Board of Directors with the Alzheimer Society of Muskoka. We know there are many incredible organizations doing important work in our community, and we’re honored that you’re considering sharing your time, talents, and leadership with us.

The Alzheimer Society of Muskoka provides education and support services that are responsive to the needs of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. We are committed to optimizing the quality of life for persons living with dementia, their families, and care partners by offering programs that are inclusive, accessible, diverse, and meaningful.

This application gives us the opportunity to learn more about you, your background, strengths, interests, and what you could bring to our board. It’s also a chance for you to get a sense of what we value in our board members and how we can support a fulfilling experience for you.

Our goal is to ensure a strong mutual fit, aligning your motivations, availability, and experience with the needs and expectations of our organization. Ultimately, we’re looking for board members who can help us grow our impact and advance our mission, and we’re equally committed to creating a positive and rewarding experience for you as part of our leadership team.

If you have any questions or need support while completing the application, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Haylee Pitkin, Community Development Manager, at hpitkin@alzheimermuskoka.ca.

Thank you for considering this opportunity and for your interest in the work we do. We’re excited to learn more about you and look forward to continuing the conversation.

Warm regards,
The Alzheimer Society of Muskoka Team
