2013-14 ASCLA Webinar Proposal Form |
1. Introduction
ASCLA welcomes proposals for professional development webinars. The ASCLA Online Learning Committee evaluates proposals for professional development webinars that support the work of ASCLA's members: services to special populations, including users with disabilities and incarcerated adults and youth; independent librarians and consultants; state libraries and public libraries; and library networks and cooperatives.
All webinars will be hosted by ASCLA and delivered using the current webinar software in use by ASCLA; presenters will receive software training from the ASCLA Web Manager.
All webinars should be approximately 60 to 90 minutes in length.
Proposals are accepted and evaluated on an ongoing basis, however it is strongly recommended that proposals for webinars in spring 2013 be submitted by January 15, 2014 for presentation March 15 through May 15, 2014 and August, 2014.
Webinar presenters will be paid $150 for each webinar presented. Co-presenters will be paid $75 for each webinar presented.
Questions with an asterisk (*) require a response.
If you need assistance, please contact ASCLA web manager Andrea Hill at ahill@ala.org.
