This is an application form for ARETE Pilot 2 teachers. Teachers are invited to apply in pairs. Applications are open for Geometry and Geography primary school teachers from EU or H2020 associated countries.

If selected, your data will be shared with the respective Ministry of Education. You agree to the data collection and processing:
For this call, you are required to apply with another teacher from your school. Personal data collected via this application form will be used by EUN for the purpose of selecting ARETE Pilot 2 teachers. The data collected will be kept by EUN for 6 years after the completion of the project. Should you or the teacher you apply with wish to exercise your right to correction, erasure or portability of your data or just wish to know what personal data we hold on you, please contact the Data Controller at privacy@eun.org; Internal Auditor EUN Partnership, Rue de Treves, 1040 Brussels.
 
If not selected, your personal data will not be shared outside EUN and it will be used only according to the purposes declared. At the end of the form, if they wish, participants can agree to be included on a reserve list, should they wish to be contacted by EUN at a later date, if the opportunity to be involved in the ARETE pilots arises later in the project. Regardless of your response, your personal data will be deleted 2 years after the end of the selection process. Except where this is indicated in the terms and conditions of Survey Monkey, your information is not intended to be transferred to destinations outside of the EU/EEA (European Economic Area), although it may be accessible to parties outside the EU/EEA via online media and websites. You both have a good working knowledge of English.
You are both interested and experienced using technology in your classes.
You are both comfortable using mobile applications in your teaching.
You both have good Internet connection at home and at your school.
You both have access to Android or iOS tablets/iPads/smartphones.
All/majority of students in both your classes have access to Android or iOS tablets/iPads/smartphones. In case not all the students in a class own a device, you will find ways to ensure the access to device for all of the students (e.g. by having a pair/group of students working with the same device or two students sharing one device and exchanging it physically (in case of online implementation).
You both are able to comply with the indicative timeline included in the Call.
You both are available to be engaged in the project during the period of September 2021 and June 2022.

Both teachers agree to the conditions specified in the Call.
Both applicants understand that the selection of ARETE Pilot 2 teachers will be carried out by European Schoolnet (EUN), and validated by Ministries of Education in corresponding countries.
Both teachers understand that it will be their responsibility for getting any permissions from the school necessary for their involvement in the ARETE Pilot 2 and the completion of the tasks, if selected.
Both teachers understand that the Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between EUN and each selected ARETE Pilot 2 teacher, which will include: 1) the description of tasks and benefits for pilot teachers and students; 2) the description and purpose of the research being carried out within ARETE Pilot 2; 3) data management provisions, namely storing the consent forms of pupils and parents. 
Both applicants understand that EUN keeps the right to cancel completely or modify any of the conditions related to this call. No obligation will arise under this call until the Memorandum of Understanding has been signed by both EUN and the selected teacher.
Both teachers understand that EUN Partnership will not enter into any discussion regarding the results of the selection as well as that their application will be confirmed with my country's respective Ministry of Education.
Both teachers understand that to process their application, collection and storage of personal data (name, surname, email address) is necessary. This data will be used by EUN Partnership strictly for the purpose defined at the beginning of this form.
