Autism Friendly Raceday Registration 2025 |
Register to attend an Autism Friendly Raceday
Autism in Racing provides Autism Friendly Racedays with a sensory space and quiet room with a trained host so that people with autism can enjoy a supported day at the races where their needs are met and understood.
We cater for everyone from young people to adults with their family, support worker or Autism Support Group.
We aim to raise awareness about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and educate the racing industry about how to make it easier for people with autism to enjoy a day at the races and find supported employment opportunities in racing.
We offer Sensory Spaces at many British Racecourses on Autism-Friendly Racedays
Working alongside mobile sensory room providers, autism-friendly sensory spaces are available at a greater number of racecourses this year.
Why horseracing?
Horseracing is the second largest spectator sport in the UK. As an industry we feel strongly that a day at the races should be inclusive to everyone. We also understand that if the event becomes too crowded, noisy or over-stimulating, people with autism need somewhere to take time out where their needs are understood and met.
You will receive TWO complimentary adult tickets (under 18s can attend for free so no ticket is required).
Additional adult raceday tickets can be purchased via the racecourse subject to availability.
You can use the sensory room as a base for the day and stay for as many races as you would like to.

To avoid the sensory space itself becoming crowded, we limit the number of people to 25. You may be asked to attend another raceday on the calendar if this is the case.
Autism in Racing Hosts will be on hand to help with any questions you may have about the racecourse and horseracing.
