Mission, Vision, and Purpose

ABIE has been conceived as a big tent organization that can offer services and support to the public post-secondary sector and incoming and outgoing students, staff, and faculty. It will support Government’s agenda for sustainable, regional, and diverse growth and maturation. It will create platforms for greater institutional success in key and emerging markets and be responsive to capacity building needs of the sector and the choreography of system-wide activities.

The global statements below have been articulated through broad consultations within Alberta, through direction from Government, and through comparisons with like associations nationally and internationally.
