Thank you for agreeing to take part in a short survey about anti-VEGF treatments for macular disease.
Several macular conditions can be treated with drugs collectively referred to as anti-VEGF drugs. Examples of anti-VEGF drugs include Lucentis, Eylea and Vabysmo.
Anti-VEGF drugs are effective at preventing the development of new abnormal blood vessels in the macula and leakage of blood and fluid from these vessels, which leads to sight loss. They are commonly used for people with wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic macula oedema (DMO), and other macula conditions which cause blood vessel growth and build-up of fluid.
This survey is designed to understand the treatment regimens of people receiving anti-VEGF injections in the UK. It is only aimed at those who are currently being treated with anti-VEGF injections or have received them in the last 5 years.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on anti-VEGF injections and this survey contains two sections and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Your comments will be anonymous and will help understand the views on treatment for macular disease. The data from this survey will be used to create a report which will be published on the Macular Society website www.macularsociety.org. All data and information collected and published will be completely anonymous.
If you have any questions or issues relating to this survey, please contact Sarah Clinton at the Macular Society at sarah.clinton@macularsociety.org or telephone 01264 560 207
Thank you so much for your time and everything you do to Beat Macular Disease.
