Grimsby Public Library Growth Strategy Study - Community Survey |
Introduction
Recognizing the considerable population growth and demographic change that the Town of Grimsby has seen in recent years, which is projected to continue into the future, the Grimsby Public Library is undertaking a growth strategy study. The purpose of this study is to determine what the library-related needs of the community will be over the next decade and beyond, and to develop a plan that will respond to and accommodate this growth. The study will examine the full range of library services, including collections, programs and services, and facilities. We have retained the firm TCI Management Consultants, experts in library and cultural facility planning, to assist us in this investigation.
Clearly a very important element of this review is to consult with library users and other members of our community, to determine your needs and wishes in this regard. Accordingly, this survey, which should take you only 15 or so minutes to complete, will provide you with a vehicle to provide your input and ideas. The survey will be open until midnight Friday, January 17, 2025.
As a ‘thank you’ for participation, we are offering one lucky respondent an opportunity to win an iPad. Should you choose to enter, contact information will be collected at the end of the survey and your name will be entered into the draw. All responses will be CONFIDENTIAL, and all contact information will be destroyed at the conclusion of the survey (unless you would like us to keep your name on our email list).
